Another Duxbury Pledge Unravels!

The list of Duxbury "revisions" include the pledge that no first team players would leave in the transfer window last January (Bellamy), Ashton being on the road to recovery, no first team players being sold this summer window (Collins), the club being in the clear over Tevez (cue a £25m settlement with Shafting United) and the club being in rude financial health (the long delayed accounts reveal a loss of £35m). But through it all, the grand Puppet Master has at least held firm on his pledge that no West Ham players would leave for arch rivals Tottenham Hotspur. Poor Scotty, it seems that even his half truths - Spector doesn't count apparently - are loaded with a long delay self destruct fuse. Anton came close to jumping from Blunderland to North London and now Walker has signed on the dotted line for the Cockyfools.

"So what?" the Three Monkeys will yell, "He is only a third choice keeper." So what? Well the West Ham Law of Sod states that injuries will force the selection of Walker for the return game at White Hart Lane and the old boy will play a blinder, saving a Stanislas penalty and keeping out a whole host of chances. Defoe, will of course, latch on to a long ball punt from Walker and tuck away the winner!

Walker was a free agent. SD had no control over who he chose to sign with.

It seems that if there's even a vague dig to be had at anything to do with WH you'll take it!

Oh I get it, you're trying to say that your article was meant to be ironic in the first place??? Not even close. Just boring.

This story has been taken from the Daily Mirror.
The same Daily Mirror that over the last couple of weeks or so has reported that;
1) We would sell Upson, Parker, Green and Cole prior to the closure of the transfer window on instructions from our owners.
2) Ashton's retirement from football was to be announced last Monday.
3) All the violence before, during and after the Carling Cup game with Millwall was entirely attributable to West Ham fans. There was no racist chanting directed at Cole.
4) Now this.
HF if you want a crusade to follow, try looking into just what The Mirror's setting out to do.

Walker was released, so he was a free agent and could go where he liked you cock. Bellamy refused a new deal and put in a transfer request, so there is no point keeping a player who no longer wants to be there and was sold to City to avoid him going to Tottenham. The article in The Guardian about our finances was a re-hashed story from about a year ago. As West Ham were found not guilty of any further wrong doing, it would appear that we got shafted by Lord Griffiths and Sheff Utd. Collins was sold to raise money for a much needed striker, which unfortunately didn't work out because the player didn't want to come to West Ham and as for that story in The Mirror about us offering Spector to Tottenham, well! The Mirror really are the oracle on all things football!!! Aren't they? I'm no fan of yours fanno, but at times to be fair, I stick up for you when others are just talking bollocks. But this time it is you that is talking bollocks and writing crap like this makes you just as bad as all those anti West Ham hacks that work for the tabloids. Dont get facts mixed up speculation and what you believe.
