Hot on the heels of the Tevez scandal and stories of the imminent bankruptcy of the Icelandic owner, West Ham United has been rocked by news of an investigation into employee expenses dating back as far as the Curbishley era. A source close to the club confirmed, "An audit of expenses claimed from December 2006 has highlighted certain questionable claims and irregularities."
Full details are awaited but certain dubious claims have already been identified. Club officials are at a loss as to why the former manager was allowed to claim for a service of his brown Volvo and for a spring clean of his caravan. The claims submitted by Luis Boa Morte from January onwards for "bales of hay and a plentiful supply of carrots" are also being questioned. At a less serious level, the purchase of an Action Man by Freddie Sears and a Monopoly set by Jack Collison is also causing concern. "The figures involved may not be great but that is not the point. It is the principle that is at stake," said the source.
All this pales into insignificance, however, when set alongside Curbishley's claim for four great piles of manure delivered over an eight month period from January to August 2007. "Mr Curbishley promised us that the investment would enhance our performance on the pitch", the source revealed. "However the deliveries from Fulham, Tottenham, West Brom and Arsenal respectively appear to have been obtained for no worthwhile purpose whatsoever."

Sorry to bring you into it Aycliffe. I just needed evidence to highlight the guy's absurd hypocrisy. I have no issue with tongue in cheek humour, as you know, and regard your comments as precisely that. The guy is a pathetic pillock. On top of these absurd comments, I also have a number of orgers posting the name of a porn model on the site and urging people to look in on her site. I assume this was after a joke between Pete and myself on the org where we joked about a sexy refuse collection site - and "I'm the Daddy" (aka davefking?) claimed it was a live link to a porn site which his son had then followed. I'm pretty sure that was untrue, the name was absurd and if there really is a porn site operating under that name, then the visitors must be very strange indeed! Anyway, we both apologised. To keep posting about a porn actress on a site that kids can visit is revolting.
The sad thing is, the actions of a self confessed group from the org has proved exactly what I said about the Klan. You are keeping company with some pretty revolting guys over there - not all, 98% are decent West Ham fans, but the 2% are witless and very nasty.
I saw your comment that the org is now less mordant but, if you are honest, it is sadly lacking in humour and intelligent banter now. It is not just about the number of posts but the quality of those posts. Del is sadly missed and so is El Martillo. His banning says everything about the bullying nature of the Klan and, unfortunately, about the collusion of Mr Nixon. You KNOW El Martilo is not me, but he has been banned because he is me. That is very sad.
Anyway, you are one of the guys whose contributions I still read so look in here whenever you want. And we have exchanged a couple of times on the org recently anyway!

No problem Fanno, my new tag did make me smile! A lot has happened to the org over the past year and I will stick up a thread highlighting this. Unfortunately there has been casualties and indeed Marty was one of them. It has picked itself up and while you are right regarding some absent friends others will have to pick up the mantle and come through the ranks much the same as when a team loses a star player. If you are still posting I do have a feeling I know who you are and I have mentioned this to Pete. I don't know what your plans are for this blog but I can see you are putting in a big effort to promote it. Unfortunately as Neville found you will get all sorts of comments when people are free to post undercover. The family are all well up here and I hope all is well in the Fanno household. As I like my user name I may have to submit an article but of course I will make sure I don't offend!! Busy trying to unmordant(new word) the org at the moment so have some patience my dear!
